COVID-19 protocols for this season:
- Masks required while entering and exiting the building.
- Hand washing and sanitizing encouraged.
- Coaches will be masked during all practices.
- Only coaches and athletes on the official roster will be allowed in our gym during practice.
- We will follow the Ohio Health Department quarantine and isolation flowchart found on our school website for all exposure or positive cases of COVID involving any of our athletes.
ST. FRANCIS XAVIER CYO 2015-16 BASKETBALL PROGRAM
The 2015-16 SFX-CYO basketball season is set to begin November 1st, 2015 in the St. Francis Xavier Center. Athletes must attend practices twice a week at St. Francis Xavier and be committed to participate in weekend games. A CYO pre participation form with a doctor’s signature valid for 13 months is required to participate and is due before the first practice. Cleveland CYO league games will commence December 5, 2015 and will continue through mid-February 2016 with tournament championships running into early March 2016. No team is guaranteed games in our gym. Game scheduling is handled by CYO. Please note that teams in the seventh and eighth grade are divided by skill level in most cases.
Registration deadline for Basketball is October 8th, 2015.
